A territory that cares for its people

The lighthouse, the church, the market, the usual walk. That content your municipality already produced to attract visitors can do something even more important: accompany and stimulate the people who need it most. Territorio que Cuida turns your territory's real tourism material into a care resource for older adults, people experiencing loneliness, people with disabilities and, through the connected home, any resident.

reuses the tourism content your municipality has already produced
  1. Qué hacemos

We repurpose your tourism content — trails, 360° tours, audio guides — as reminiscence therapy, companionship against loneliness and accessibility.

  2. Qué resuelve

The content Tourism paid for gets used once; meanwhile, Social Services needs tools and has no budget to produce them.

  3. Por qué Clotitec

One investment serves two departments, aligned with the National Loneliness Framework 2026-2030 and with GestoNav proven live.

How it works

One capture, many forms of care

The key to the model: no new content is produced, we reuse what Tourism already paid for. One investment serves several departments.

1 · We start from what already exists

Your municipality already has 360° tours, audio guides, photographs and trails produced for tourism. Nothing new needs to be captured: that content is the raw material.

2 · We adapt it for care use

A slower pace, descriptive narration, easy-to-read text and pictograms. Every piece is reviewed so it works in a guided session with older adults or people with disabilities.

3 · We bring it to where the person is

Care homes, day centers, municipal programs and the home itself. It works on a tablet, a large screen or a projector — no VR headsets, no new devices.

Module 1

Memoria Viva: the territory as therapy

Reminiscence therapy uses memories of the past to stimulate memory, orientation and mood in older adults, with or without cognitive decline. Its effectiveness depends on one thing: the material has to be recognizable. A generic video of "a town in the north" says nothing; the lighthouse a resident climbed as a child says everything.

Memoria Viva brings the 360° tours, photographs and audio guides of your municipality into care homes and day centers, organized into guided sessions: the therapist or activities coordinator picks a place, walks through it on screen with the group, and the narration marks out stops, questions and memories along the way.

And not only for older adults: the same resource works in hospitals, with long-stay patients who have not seen the street in months, in pediatrics as distraction and motivation, and in health and social care centers and mental health settings as occupational-therapy material. Bringing the territory to those who cannot go out to see it.

  • Guided reminiscence and orientation sessions with 360° tours of the municipality
  • Narrated history, at a slow pace and in clear language
  • A guidance manual for center staff: no technical background required
  • Works on a tablet, a screen or a projector — no VR headsets
  • Suitable for people with reduced mobility: the territory comes to the center

Module 2

Unwanted Loneliness: companionship controlled with a gesture

Unwanted loneliness particularly affects older adults living alone and people with reduced mobility who have lost daily contact with their surroundings. Municipal companionship programs need material that sparks conversation and connection — and nothing connects more than your own town.

This module puts the territory's content at the service of those programs: the volunteer or social worker arrives at the visit with a route already prepared ("today we are walking through the harbor"), the person watches and comments from their sofa, and the session ends with the nearby activities calendar to take the next step: going out. It is designed to fit into existing companionship programs and into the National Framework Against Unwanted Loneliness, with no new structures required.

The technology piece behind this module is GestoNav, our gesture-controlled virtual-tour viewer: the person moves through their town's 360° tour by turning their head or moving a hand in front of the camera — no controller, no touchscreen, nothing to learn. The webcam identifies the face and hands on the device itself, no video ever leaves it, and the same gesture that navigates the tour also doubles as gentle mobility exercise, useful in care homes and physiotherapy.

  • GestoNav: the tour is navigated with hand gestures or head movements — no controller, no touchscreen
  • 100% local processing in the browser: no video ever leaves the device (GDPR)
  • Ready-made routes for companionship visits, in person or by video call
  • Familiar, recognizable content that sparks conversation and memory
  • The gesture itself is therapy: guided mobility exercise in care homes and physiotherapy
  • Connection to the municipal events calendar: from the screen to the real activity
Module 3

Territory accessibility

A destination does not belong to everyone if part of the population cannot understand or explore it. This module adapts the municipality's content for cognitive and sensory accessibility: easy-to-read versions for people with intellectual disabilities, pictograms on trails and points of interest, and audio guides with descriptive narration for people who are blind or have low vision, in line with the UNE 153020 and 153101 EX standards.

In addition, every trail publishes its real physical-accessibility information — gradients, surface type, rest areas, adapted restrooms — so each person can decide with real data whether the route suits them. For the municipality, this is not just a gesture: Royal Decree 1112/2018 requires the public sector to provide digital accessibility, and doing it by design avoids complaints and rework.

  • Easy-to-read text and pictograms validated with third-sector organizations
  • Descriptive, multilingual audio guides (UNE 153020 and 153101 EX)
  • Trails with real data: gradients, surface, rest areas, adapted restrooms
  • Compliance by design with Royal Decree 1112/2018 on public-sector accessibility

Module 4

Hogar Digital: care reaches the home

The last stretch of care happens at home. This module connects the home with the municipality and with the family: household sensors for air quality, temperature and energy consumption; municipal notices (collection schedules, cuts, nearby events) delivered straight to a simple screen; and AI-generated efficiency recommendations to lower the bill without switching provider.

For an older person living alone, the same screen that shows the walk along the harbor also tells them there is no market tomorrow and that their living room's air quality is good. All built on open home-automation standards — Matter, KNX, Home Assistant — with privacy as the rule: home data is processed locally whenever possible and complies strictly with the GDPR.

  • Indoor air-quality, temperature and energy-consumption sensors
  • Municipal notices and services on a simple screen, suitable for older adults
  • AI-personalized energy-efficiency recommendations
  • Open home automation (Matter, KNX, Home Assistant) — no dependence on a single manufacturer
  • Privacy by design: local processing and strict GDPR compliance
